Traffic building option 2:

Promote your website on places with relevant topic.

So if you have a website about gardening, then don’t promote your website on websites that are talking about football. The idea behind this is to become authority in your niche. You want to present yourself as an expert in your field. How can you achieve that?

Create useful and meaningful posts on forums. Look for topics that are seeking for answer on specific question, then do a little research and provide answer. Make sure to use niche-specific language and don’t make grammar mistakes. Also, make sure to put a link to your website into your signature with a strong call to action.

Another way is comment posting on popular blogs in your niche. If you want to find popular blogs, just do a search in Google: “keyword” +blog. That should give you a list of blogs. Of course, it would be good to use do-follow blogs as much as possible, but no-follow blogs can bring your traffic as well.
